Flock is cool. The end.
My first period class is independent study of web design. I’m pretty stoked because I get to sleep in and get credit for doing whatever I want in Dreamweaver. Right now I am working on a website for my mom, then it will be a website for an FBLA competition. I’ll upload the sites once they’re finished. My mom’s shouldn’t take too long. Just basic css and html, no images or anything, for now. My next site won’t have too much either, but I’ll be competing in an event, so it better look good =P.
Ron got a new chat program, so I borrowed the idea. Heh. Check it out, it is the link at the top called “chat with me”. “MeeboMe” is the old meebo chat. Have fun.
The 0 emails I get a day were just too much to handle, so I have added meebome to my blog. Just click “chat with me” near the top, and you will be taken to a page where you can chat with me. Its pretty nifty, check it out!
Ron has inspired me to start up my blog again, and get into web design. For now I will just use the layout from 5thirtyone that I currently have on. I’ll see what I can add with this one, and maybe try and create my own when I get enough free time. Check back in a couple days to see what I’ve done.
Last Thursday I started work at Concur. My first job was to make a page in ASP that would show the current bugs and requested features for their program. Learning the language isnt too hard, its mainly the logic of programming that is tough. There are so many variable that get thrown all over the place. I customized the page so that people using the site could choose which bugs they want to see from a dropdown menu. I start again on Wednesday, it should be interesting.
WordPress seems very well put together so far. There are so many buttons to click…I think i’ll try them all.
I bought a little hosting package from webfactional. They have this neat control panel that makes installing web apps extremely easy. WordPress has it’s own interface that so far seems very helpful and easy to use. I also added a php-ish thing which I have yet to explore. Time to play around in WordPress.
